Recommerce is making great strides towards a brighter future. In 2020 alone on the eBay platform, 720,000 million tons of carbon emissions were saved through the buying and selling of second hand consumer electronics and apparel. By the year 2025, eBay hopes to offset an additional 3 million metric tons of carbon emissions as well.
