Twitter tests out a new Visual Editor

After saying goodbye to its short story feature – Fleets, in the previous month, the company learned some lessons from Fleets and is now planning to apply them in the new areas of development.

The app researcher, Alessandro Paluzzi revealed that Twitter is experimenting with a new feature that will allow the users to utilize all of the Fleets features for their regular Tweets through a new visual editor.

This new process will enable the users to add text, stickers, crops, and a lot more to the videos and images uploaded on their Tweets. Moreover, the new visual editor will also let the users upload a straight text visual having a colored background that you can choose yourself. All of this would result in a much more creative flair in everyone’s feed.

Having that said, it means that even after the retirement of Fleets, you haven't actually said a forever goodbye to it.
