This guide from the team at hp.com shows the top 20 countries with the fastest internet and the top 20 countries with the slowest. You can see on this map that the global average of broadband is around 98.67 mbps. Singapore, which comes in on top of this list for fastest broadband, has an average internet speed of 238.59 mbps. The rest of the top twenty countries on this list are as follows: 


1. Singapore Internet speed: 238.59 megabits per second

2. Hong Kong Internet speed: 231.70 megabits per second 

3. Thailand Internet speed: 217.70 megabits per second 

4. Romania Internet speed: 205.89 megabits per second
