Initially, scientists predicted that a country would require around 60 to 70 percent of its population to be fully jabbed against the Covid-19 in order to develop resistance against the virus and put the spiking cases to a halt. However, the revised threshold that was released at the start of 2021, says that some countries must have 80 to 85 percent of their population vaccinated fully.
The entire world is in the race towards vaccination and currently, Israel seems to be winning it. As the infographic reveals, Israel has got around 59.3 percent of its total population jabbed fully. Bahrain is the second country with the highest percentage of its population fully vaccinated against the deadly virus i.e., 5.4 percent.
Note that full vaccination here means that the percent of population has been administered all the prescribed doses required to develop immunity against the pandemic virus.
