Apple just opened a new, big market for itself by making its streaming music service available for Google smart speakers and other Google devices running the voice-based Google Assistant. 


Google also shared the news, which says that Apple Music subscribers will now be able to play music on Google’s speaker hardware including the Nest Audio and Nest Mini speakers, and other devices with screens.  


Apple Music is already available for Amazon’s devices and the Apple Music app is available on Android phones, and now expanding the service to Google devices is a huge selling point for the company. Apple has been offering its services like Apple Music and Apple TV+ via platforms of rival companies, and the strategy has been successful in driving the company's growth. 


Apple Music will be available for Google devices running Google Assistant in the U.S., UK, France, Germany, and Japan, according to Google.
