The internet is a revolutionary invention of mankind, no
doubt. Everything that was a pipe dream, a sci-fi work of a fantasy, is now
made possible with internet. Internet is single-handedly responsible for over
95 percent of the modern technological inventions. It started as a small
network of nearby computers sharing information and grew into a worldwide
phenomenon and has now became a part of our daily lives.
The internet of today is very different from what it was
when it was created. Internet communication is now at its finest than any other
point in time and it is constantly improving. Today, the capability of sending
and delivering from a single device to the other is 2GB per second. The structure
of the internet is not what we all think about. How is it physically
structured?
Internet is a giant web or a sprawl of devices interconnected
with each other globally. Each and every device is connected with each other in
any way with the magic of the internet. This is the reason internet is also
called a “web.”
