System Analysis and Program Development

System Analysis and Program Development (SAP), is a company which is basically a result of five mastermind engineers who believed in carrying out their potential after they were ordered to call off their project. As the previous AI employees of IBM, their experience in artificial intelligence was more than enough to boost their career in future. The moment these five engineers agreed upon the decision of founding their own software and programming company, their entire lives took new turns.
The first client SAP was able to win was from Germany called Imperial Chemical Industries, which led SAP to choose Germany as its official location for the headquarters in early 1976. After its establishment in the city of Walldorf, 1992 was the year when SAP invented R/3. This technology was then modified into different versions after three years. Upon finding better alternatives, namely ECC ERP SAP by 2004, SAP chose to replace R/S by them. By 2013, SAP made the decision to make people suffering from autism a part of its company. After one year, SAP rejoined hands with its former employer IBM for partnership and went to carry on its endeavour to sell cloud-based software which it had introduced the previous year.

To gain a commercial benefit, SAP also introduced a store called e-commerce, where people could easily buy products online. By the end of 2016, SAP had brought HANA into the markets, invested a hefty amount into the Internet of Things with big future plans and obtained the title of the third-largest software company. With such a long list of successful projects and partnerships until 2017, the total earnings of SAP reached 23.5 billion Euros. Because of its top-rated services and earnings, the stock market valued its shares at USD128 billion, making it one of the topmost programming and software companies in the world.
