How the Lockdowns have affected B2B sales #infographic

It seems that the current CoVid-19 pandemic has taken over all of our lives. Very few industries have remained unscathed during the pandemic, and most businesses have seen a sharp decline in their sales and profits, with the closing down of physical stores making it difficult for customers to buy things.

But it’s not just B2C businesses that have been hurt. In fact, a lot of B2B services have been rendered useless as companies no longer operate stores and need fewer goods and services.

According to the survey done by Comtemsa, almost three quarters of the sales opportunities decreased during the lockdown, and salespeople interviewed reported that over 65% of their deals were lost.

Interestingly however, when asked what their biggest career-related fear was regarding their roles in the future, no one voted for losing their job. In fact, the most-cited fear was the lack of budget for buyers.

Businesses are also finding it difficult to communicate and make deals and have business meetings virtually, which can take away the human element of the interactions.

These are some of the problems that B2B businesses are facing due to the coronavirus-related lockdowns across the world.
