while gamers in North America, Europe, and the rest of the world got their hands
on the affordable system by end of the same year. The game became an instant
hit and remained popular for a very long time.
In fact, Sony claims that they have sold more than 155

PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Wii, and Xbox.
The following chart also shows Sony dominating the gaming
landscape for more than two decades for creating some of the best revenue
grossing video games. The company is also working on its next-generation game
console called the PS5 and expects to release it before the upcoming holiday
season.
