Ortho K Contact lenses change the shape of your eye as you sleep. Your cornea (the lens) of your eye is not completely solid, similar to jelly in fact. So it is really easy to change the shape of it temporarily. Both short sighted and long sightedness are both caused by your cornea not focusing light correctly. By changing the shape it becomes possible to restore your vision. The effects of Ortho K contact lenses are only temporary. Lasting for up to 48 hours at a time, it is recommended to wear them every night.
