The Price of Light
Light has played an important role in human evolution through history, bringing us from the stone age through the industrial revolution and finally to where we are today, using LED’s for computer monitors and to create some truly stunning visuals.

Recently it has also helped cement the importance of some of the world’s biggest and best man made landmarks, for instance It’s hard to think of the Eiffel tower without picturing it sparking in yellow light against the dark night’s sky. Well we thought it would be interesting to see exactly how much its cost’s to light up some of these landmarks all year round.

From the £100,000,000 spent on the Las Vegas strip to the £41,200 spent on the London eye. (It’s worth noting however that this is just the cost of electricity, and doesn’t include maintenance or replacing bulbs) so take a look below and let us know what your favorite is.
