There is a point at which the playful child in us is replaced by the serious grown up. That bright and lively spirit that’s bursting with energy hides away when we realise it’s time to earn a living.

We leave all the fun stuff behind and we head off to work to be thoroughly well-ordered and business-like. Well in reality, it needn't all be quite so serious. In actual fact, a playful approach can help to promote more creative, innovative thinking. Which is something we all aspire to.

So how can we support innovative thinking and a more creative approach at work?

Well there are a number of tried and tested ways we can encourage this, both in ourselves and the people around us. From creating an inspiring vision to adjusting the language we use and the people we hold as role models, we can all become a little more playful at work. Here are some more bright ideas:
