Since the company has been very trying a lot to keep the users engaged with Reels, as a counter to its Rival platform, TikTok. The social media giant, Instagram is working on the latest development of a new feature known as “Montage” that will allow the users to convert stories into Reels.

This new update would enable the users to splice up their stories into a Reel format. Once you have added all the clips in your Stories in a sequence, Instagram will formulate the video automatically and combine it as a Reels clip. You will be offered a few audio clips to add into the Reels clip if any fits right in.
