Instagram is now letting users to add up pronouns to their profile, that they can display publicly or to their followers only. In case the preferred pronoun is not already available, users can fill out a form to add it.

The newly added option is available in limited countries, including the US, for now, according to Instagram.

The feature of pronouns is something that few other platforms already have, such as OkCupid, Lyft, and Facebook. Facebook brought the feature to its platform in 2014 and while its pronoun options are limited to “he/him, she/her, and they/them,” Instagram plans to offer more options.
