Apple's System Status page informed users about an outage that both the App Store and Mac App Store recently went through. The problem, according to the company, initiated around 10:05 a.m. Pacific Time, resulting in the App Store services getting slowed down or becoming unavailable for some users.
Some other Apple services including iCloud Drive, iCloud Mail, and iMessage had also been affected by the same issue.
Several users who have experienced problems with Apple’s services have complained over Twitter and other social platforms.
Shortly after, Apple's System Status page updated users that the problems have been addressed and resolved, so all the services are now running fine as before.
