Since first being reported in 2019 in China, the Covid-19 cases have spread at an incredible rate around the world. The pandemic has gripped every single country of the world; however, the difference in the number of cases is due to some factors such as the aging population of the countries, the demographic profile of a country, etc. It is clearly understandable that the larger the country, the greater the number of positive cases and deaths.
As per the infographic that shows the records as of 4th January 2021, the United States leads the list with more than 20 million Covid-19 cases in the country. The total number of Covid-19 cases worldwide has now exceeded 85 million, with over 1.8 million deaths.
Followed by India on the second, the number of cases also does not show any signs of slowing down. The nation has hit 10 million cases till 4th January. Even Germany, the 10th country on the list is also over 1 million cases.
