Global Warming in every two decades

Global warming has been a concern for the humans for a while now. Many celebrities, influencers and social activists have highlighted the topic and asked everyone to take measures to contain the situation. The Earth is heating up since the late 19th century but in the 2000s the process has accelerated to a substantial amount.

According from data from NASA, August 2020 was 2.14 C than the average month recorded in 1880. NASA also confirmed that the months from February to April and August 2020 were the second hottest months ever recorded. January, May and July of 2020 were tied for the second place. The mentioned stats conclude that 2020 is going to be the second-hottest year ever recorded.

2016 still hold the record for the warmest year in the history. 2019 was also very hot and is currently the second hottest year to have been recorded. By the numbers above, it is clear that the global warming accelerated after 2010 and is still going up. This will continue to rise until the world do something about it. The coronavirus pandemic is also on our hands now and everyone is focused on that, but there are other things going around in the world that needs attention as well.

Take a look at the infographic below for a brief visualization of two decadal monthly divergence since 1880 to 2020.
