Last Friday, Apple evicted Fortnite from the App store. A few moments later, the Play Store followed the footsteps and vanished Fortnite from there as well. This brought the gamers together who stood for Fortnite. The issue has not yet been resolved; in fact, we don’t see any spark of settlement near. Apple said that they wouldn’t be making any exceptions for Epic games as they don’t find it right to prioritize their business interest on the guidelines.
As per Apple, Epic games initiated the problem, and they are the only ones who can work it out. Apple also says that if Epic changes the direct payment mechanism in the Fortnite app in order to purchase the in-game currency, i.e., V-bucks, it will be back on the App store.
