The pandemic of 2020 has taken the world by storm. People are stuck inside their homes, waiting for the cure and hoping that the disease doesn’t spread anymore. The sheer death and destruction this pandemic have brought us has made our lives miserable.
Amidst the shock and awe, the consumer shopping and spending trends have changed very dramatically. People are still only adjusting to this lockdown life by taking up their hobbies like gardening, reading among other things. In the start of the lockdown, the main concern for the people were the essentials as there was a threat that general stores will be closed and we will have a little Walking Dead situation on our hands. This is the high-time for businesses to start investing in online marketing because the consumer trend is heavily shifting towards it. It may also be the case that consumers may stick to the online shopping trends post-coronavirus even more than pre-coronavirus.
