Is the possibility of the development of the COVID-19 vaccine still intact?

Ever since living with COVID-19 became the new normal for the residents of affected countries, many countries have taken upon themselves to generate vaccines and prepare ample antibodies for prevention from COVID-19. Several countries have been working day and night to achieve promising results in the battle against COVID-19 for a few months.

Recent news declared that two trials that have reported to be in the progressing phase as the results obtained by these trials had gained approval by the researchers for further testing and trials. The prospective vaccine produced in the National Key R&D Programme in the city of Wuhan and the University of Oxford was administered carefully and tested on several volunteers to observe any lethal effects. The research being carried out in Wuhan stepped into its application phase on various participants, each belonging to a specific age group. After obtaining the results, researchers deduced that apart from the common side effects, these participants did not show any severe conditions in reaction to this vaccine.

On the other hand, researchers at the University of Oxford have decided to process these vaccines further into the next trial phase so that the fast development of these vaccines could be achieved in less time with promising results.
