The World's 10 Most (And Least) Internet-Friendly Cities

We can say that we are living in the age of the Internet, with almost every moment driven by this technological phenomenon. We share posts on daily basis on our social media news feeds, we stay up-to-date on what's going on around the world, we do online shopping, learn online, and there's so much more that we cannot deny the Internet has transformed our lives. Hence, having a good internet connection is important.

So let's take a glance at those cities which offer pure Internet bliss for work and personal purposes alike. London is right at the top of these Internet-friendly cities. With free wi-fi service in thousands of restaurants, no wonder this English city is ranked number one. Along with that, it has also been putting in a lot of efforts to launch 5G. It may also come as a surprise to many people, but almost half of the list is covered by Asian cities, with two belonging only to Japan- namely, Osaka and Tokyo.

Yet in this age where the Internet is massively available, we still have cities which lack in being Internet-friendly, one way or the other. Moreover by Internet-friendly, we do not only mean the connection speed, but also the expenses that go into it. Dubai is one such example where the speed is fine, but the charges are way too high. Since this diverse city is always booming with people from all across the globe, it has approximately more than 1,000 restaurants offering free wi-fi.
