Facebook continues to thrive
Social media is a prominent part of our lives and many of us are guilty of visiting our favorite networks during work and even when we should be sleeping. But, did you know that Facebook users are the most loyal with the leading social media network and admit to check it multiple times during the day.

During the previous years, Mark Zuckerberg’s brainchild has been plagued with numerous controversies from collecting user’s data to distributing them to third parties – without consent. The recent allegation on Facebook is the publication of political ads.

Ahead of the US election, most major social media networks have decided to limit political advertisements and stay away from any controversy that arouses as a result. However, Mark Zuckerberg advocates freedom of speech and says that he will continue to post political ads on his platform without fact checking their speeches.

But interestingly, despite all the scandals – Facebook remains to be the favorite social media network amongst American adults.

In fact, Pew Research Center conducted a survey of more than 1,500 people, where more than half of the participants admitted to log on Facebook several times during the day. Facebook-owned Instagram followed close behind with 63% net daily usage.
