Are Americans as financially strong as portrayed?

The economy of the U.S. may appear stronger than ever but surprisingly – nearly 70% of Americans claim that they have less than $1000 in savings. GOBankingRates recently conducted their annual savings survey of around 846 respondents, where 45% admitted to having zero savings in 2019.

The findings also surprised the spokesperson for the National Foundation for Credit Counselling: Bruce McClary. In his talks with Yahoo Finance, he said that it’s hard to believe that Americans cannot even come up with $1,000 – despite the growing economy.

However, despite the ongoing impeachment, President Donald Trump praises the strong economy of the country and says that the American people are more interested in the economy, instead of the acquisition, he is facing.

In fact, the recent USA Today Poll also has President Trump leading all of the Democrat contenders. He also took on to his Twitter account and tweeted regarding the victory he gained – even with the impeachment going on.

In this infographic, let's take a look at the financial status of Americans.
