This infographic from Security Baron answers all of this questions in great detail, with all data coming from the FBI Uniform Crime Reporting (UCR) program. The data details the crime statistics by metropolitan statistical area in 2016.

According to this infographic, the metropolitan area with the highest rates of burglary in the United States is Hot Springs, Arkansas, which has a rate of 1,942.2, with a population of 97,312. Slightly behind in second is Lake Charles, Louisiana, which has a rate of 1,524.9 on a population of 206,047. Interestingly enough, seven of the top eight metropolitan areas are in either Arkansas or Louisiana.

The infographic from SecurityBaron.com also showcases the top 10 cities in America with the lowest burglary rates, a list that features cities in New York, Virginia, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Utah.
