A Timeline of Terrible Tech Predictions
The future is going to be a technological wonder land full of flying cars, space holidays to Mars, and Kanye for president. Well this is just one prediction anyway. It'll probably look quite silly in a year's time after the world’s population get subdued by an inevitable uprising of robotic selfie-sticks.

History is filled with visionaries and brilliant minds, though there’s always room for a few poor souls who miscalculated the future and got it all spectacularly wrong.

SSLs.com have gathered together the very best of the very worst predictions for the future, which have long since been proven false. From Julius Frontenus who boldly assumed that 10AD was to be the height of human technological advancement, to Steve Chen, who was worried that the site he’d just help found- YouTube- was a flawed concept.

These predictions remind us that, while the world is full of possibility, not every idea is a smart one. Be sure to check out Tesla at the bottom though, who’s prediction was surprisingly accurate.
