In a world full of food, barbecue stands on its own. Each pit-master is dedicated to a certain style. Every person, city, and even state have their own way of doing things. All across the U.S., nothing tastes quite as good as some sweet and saucy BBQ. From pork ribs and steaks to hamburgers and rib eyes, there is a preference. Through intense research, we took top barbecuing cities and found what they are famous for- the types of meat they barbecue the most, the way they build their sauces, and their two top barbecue sides. From Missouri to the Carolinas, back to California, we've covered the whole southern part of the continental United States. No two tastes are alike. Who would have thought that southern California preferred a dry rub over barbecue sauce, or that a top side in Alabama was pickles? Weird! And that isn't all.
