Superheroines vs Supervillainesses: The Women of the DC Universe
With the release of blockbuster Batman Vs Superman: Dawn of Justice, DC comics have not just introduced us to Jesse Eisenberg’s Lex Luther and Ben Affleck’s Batman, we have also been given a first glance of Gal Gadot’s fantastic Wonder Woman.

Along with her first appearance as the heroine she will also appear as the lasso wielding, indestructible bracelet wearing ancient Greek Amazon demigod in her own 2017 feature film Wonder Woman.

Alongside the rise of Wonder woman in the DC universe there are also a number of exciting female characters currently on the rise, both who fight for good and who fight for evil.

There is of course the current smash hit American TV show Supergirl which is currently airing on CBS. On the other side of good and Evil we of course have the pending release of DC’s Suicide Squad which has the brilliant Margot Robbie at the centre of it playing villain Harley Quinn.
