Science fiction captures the imaginations of millions of people every year. The Star Wars franchise is no stranger to this, as they have been capturing millions of imaginations for over 4 decades. While the storyline and characters bring you into the story and keep you coming back for more, it wouldn't be science fiction without one crucial component. This component is technology.

The technology of the Star Wars Universe is wide ranging and does not exist exclusively within the 6 major movie releases.
