Pinterest launched an individual app ‘Shuffles’ for creating
collages in August of 2022. The app has since been available to selected users,
but is now being released to everyone.
Via the app, users can make artistic displays using creative tools such as overlays, animation effects, music, etc., and then share the results with other users in the app, as well as on Pinterest to boost discovery.
After its release, Shuffles became quickly popular among young
users, which led it to take the first spot for the most popular Lifestyle app
on the US App Store.
While Shuffles is no longer as popular these days, the app could
still be considered as an opportunity to discover latest trends and express one’s
aesthetics and artistic skills in accordance with them.
