LinkedIn is releasing new engagement tools, including new comment and reply options on Event pages and a new repost option.

The comment options are meant to boost on-topic discussion and engagement on Event pages, which has become a popular place on LinkedIn where over 24,000 events are created.

The Comments tab on the page will enable users to interact with attendees before, during, and after the session. Users can make interactions using both comments and reacts. LinkedIn further adds that there will be no notifications sent to attendees of the comments.

Next, a new and simplified repost option is also being added to the ‘Share’ menu, which will help users share posts quickly and without adding their own comments to the posts. LinkedIn is currently testing the option and may release it soon.
