Recycling has lately become a trending Search topic and for that reason, tech giant Google is helping businesses raise awareness about their recycling programs.
The company has added a new recycling attribute for business profiles to facilitate businesses with driving their recycling activities and ultimately maximizing overall discovery. The new recycling attribute on Google will appear within the ‘My Business listing.’
The feature will not only help promote businesses’ recycling services, but also make it easier for people searching for these services to locate them. People can search for in-store recycling on Search, as well as Google Maps.
Businesses can add the recycling attribute to their profiles by selecting ‘Edit profile’, then ‘Business information.’ Near the top, clicking on the ‘More’ tab will display the recycling attribute, which can then be added and saved.
