Facebook Plans to Let Users React to Reels with Emojis - Visualistan -->

With Reels becoming more and more popular, Meta is looking for ways to further enhance users’ experience with the short-form video content tool. One new Reels option that users might see soon is Reactions for Reels.

Facebook is currently developing an option of reacting to Reels, so people can engage with their favorite Reels creators by showing them how they feel about their videos. A total of seven emojis will be displayed for viewers to choose from as a reaction to Reels videos.

Since emoji reactions are available for other types of content on Meta’s social platforms, it makes sense why the company is planning to introduce them for Reels. Moreover, this addition could also contribute to highlighting top Reels content, as well as showing users relevant Reels according to their interests.

Meta has not revealed when it plans to officially roll out the option to Facebook users, but you could expect it to show up anytime.
