The social media giant announced that the company has seen a rise in the use of audio on the platform and since audios are a great way to express yourself and connect to people, Facebook is working on Social Audio features to be launched on the platform. Audios are also a better way to communicate especially during our busy lives because obviously recording audio is way better than typing a text.
The first thing on which Facebook is working is a new audio creation toolset so that the pros can make the maximum use of the powerful tools. The company is testing out audio technologies such as voice morphing and speech-to-text. These tools will be directly integrated into the audio creation tools within the Facebook app and available for everyone to use. Also, the company promises to provide excellent audio quality as the AI is used to the fullest. These audio creation tools will allow the users to create Soundbites which are short forms of audio clips that can be used to capture jokes, inspirational moments, anecdotes, poems and any moment.
Who doesn’t love podcasts? Millions of people on Facebook have already followed Podcasts pages but unfortunately, you have to leave Facebook in order to listen to the podcast. However, with the integration of Podcasts within the Facebook app, you will be able to discover new episodes, share and comment on them. Whereas, the podcast creators can easily reach and connect to new and interested listeners easily, all without leaving the Facebook app.
