Google Maps introduces in-app parking payment services

Since Google Maps is the go-to application for almost every smartphone user around the globe, this new integration of payment services within the application will surely be the best feature for the users. From paying for your parked car to buying a train ticket, it will all be included in the app and just a click away.

The payment services that Google Maps is introducing includes, ParkMobile and Passport. Besides, you won’t only be able to pay for the tickets or parking but the services will also help you in finding the available space for parking or seats on the train and fill up the parking meters’ fees via the app.
All that you’ll need is a Google Pay account which will have your credit or debit card’s detail in order to make payments. Moreover, the users will be provided with two options i.e., tap-to-pay or simply show the digital ticket to the conductor. Either option can be opted for depending on the situation.

Users from more than 400 US cities can use the in-app payment services by Google Maps furthermore, about 80 transit systems globally are included in the app. According to the tech giant, initially, the feature will be rolled out for Android users and will be later available for iOS phones.
