Microsoft is all set to bring Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for iOS users in Spring 2021

Apple has managed to defeat many mobile companies because of its high-end services over the years, but there is one area that doesn't sit right with the users, and here is why. At the beginning of this year, the plan of making the Xbox streaming app a part of the Apple store was set in motion, but due to unfavorable privacy policies, the task was unable to execute.

As promised by the company of Microsoft, the Spring of 2021 will bring a piece of big news for its iOS users as they will finally be able to get their hands on the subscription of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for just $14.99 each month. This service will also provide a hundred different games for the users, which is basically a cherry on top. This service is known as a cloud-based gaming subscription service, which could easily be accessed from a web browser and does not necessarily require an entire application to get started with. But for the sake of the growth of cloud gaming among users of all kinds, Microsoft has decided to bring this service into iOS under Apple's protocols.

One of the major reasons why Apple does not favor cloud, especially for the purpose of game streaming, is that it believes every game must be present in the Apple app store as a single application. The company believes that if the game is not found in the service library as a singular application, it could lead to a security risk, which is why they prefer single game streaming. It also claims that when an application entertains multiple game streaming, it becomes difficult for the company to review the application accurately.
To help Apple keep its end of the deal and introduce multiple streaming games through the cloud at once, Microsoft made the decision to launch Xbox Game Pass Ultimate through a web browser instead of an Apple store to help preserve its rules nonetheless. Microsoft made the following statement:

"In Spring 2021, we will take the next step in our journey to reach more players around the world by making cloud gaming as part of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate available on Windows PCs through the Xbox app and browser and iOS devices through a mobile web browser. By adding over a billion devices as a path to playing in the Xbox ecosystem, we envision a seamless experience for all types of players; whether it's playing Minecraft Dungeons with your Xbox friends using touch controls on an iPhone or jumping into a Destiny 2: Beyond Light strike on a Surface Pro when you have a break between meetings."

To conclude, soon enough, Apple will no longer be able to hold back multiple game streaming; all you have to do is keep the subscription running.
