The company has never made any significant changes to the home screen since the day it has been launched. However, uncountable minor changes have been made constantly by the company in order to make the experience better for its users. But, since 2020 is bringing a lot of surprises (pleasant and unpleasant both), Instagram has got one for us as well. The tech giant announced that it had been redesigning the home screen for a while now and adding shop and reel tabs in it.
What being added further is the likes and create a button that will be sent to the top-right beside the DM sign. Adam Mosseri, the head of Instagram, tells us that the company is not taking the changes in the home screen lightly, which prepares us for something massive about to come.
Instagram has been pretty active with updates lately and added something to the platform from time to time. However, none of it was usual to our eyes because the main thing, i.e., the home screen, stayed the same. Let’s hope that the new home screen doesn’t bother us adversely and stays as easy to use as it is now.
