New ‘spiral eyes’ emoji approved to be launched

Nothing can perfectly describe a mood or feeling the way an emoji does. Since 2020 has been a roller coaster for the entire world, and what everyone is feeling cannot be explained through words. Recently, Facebook rolled out a ‘care’ emoji specifically for Covid-19 related posts, which showed a sense of love and care to every Covid-19 victim.

The Unicode Consortium has approved the proposal of a new spiral eyes emoji by Google emoji czar Jennifer Daniel. The emoji is known as ‘face-unwell,’ which is actually how we all are feeling right now. The keywords that will suggest the face-unwell emoji include ‘trouble,’ ‘oh no,’ ‘yikes,’ and ‘whoa.’ The emoji gives off vibes like dizziness, overwhelmed, or tired to a point where your head and body can no longer function properly.
There is a pending approval regarding the addition of a beard to any of a male emoji or female face emoji in order to represent what the pandemic lockdown of six months had made you look like.

The spiral eyes emoji won’t hit your phones till 2021; however, it clearly explains that the illustrator has designed the emoji under the influence of events that happened or still happening in the current year.
