Adobe is about to roll out a new tool to its photography apps; Lightroom, Lightroom Classic and Camera Raw. The feature is of advanced color grading, related to video and cinema editing.

The new color grading feature will be similar to a tool integrated in Adobe's Premiere Pro video editor, called Lumetri. With advanced color grading, users will be able to experiment with a new three-wheel system that will help them differentiate mid-tones from shadows and highlights.

A global luminance wheel and a blending slider will also be part of the new color grading tool.

Adobe hasn't yet announced when exactly it will be rolling out the advanced color grading feature. The company is, however, expected to reveal more details about it soon in its virtual conference scheduled on the 20th of October, according to Pei Ketron, member of Adobe Lightroom team.
