Telegram describes through a blog post how to make video calls. All you have to do is tap on the profile page of the person you want to make a video call with and tap the camera sign. The call will be in the picture in picture mode, which will allow the users to scroll different apps while on call. Further, users can also turn on or off their video from the call anytime they want. Every call will be end-to-end encrypted as per the company, which will maintain 100% privacy of the call.
Back in April, Telegram tells the users to expect the launch of a group video call feature later in 2020.
