Microsoft and Samsung partnerships with Xbox

Imagine three giant tech companies like Microsoft, Samsung, and Xbox collaborating for something super exciting for their users. Well, this just happened. With the unveiling of Samsung Galaxy Note 20 handset earlier on 5th August 2020, it was also revealed that it has collaborated with Xbox for a unique Game Pass. There is more to add in the news, Microsoft also came forward for a partnership with Samsung to add a new version of Xbox Game Pass application in Samsung’s Galaxy Store. This application will be extremely handy yet convenient for the Xbox users to make in-app purchases and redeem awards from their Xbox Store.

However, the Xbox Game Pass app available already on the Google Play Store doesn’t support such redeems and purchases. But, Samsung and Microsoft seem to have a special deal that undercuts Google’s 30% and enable the app exclusively on Galaxy Store only.
Samsung also offers a great gaming bundle on its Galaxy Note 20, which contains Xbox Game Pass Ultimate as well as PowerA’s MOGA XP5-X Plus, both for three months.

The deal between Samsung and Microsoft to partner with Xbox Game Pass was revealed last year. Samsung and Microsoft have already been partners in the past when Samsung Galaxy Note 10 was launched. It is clear that these big tech companies are trying to establish a close relationship between Android and Windows.
