YouTube makes 'Video Builder Tool' Available to More Businesses

Video content is a huge deal in the world of digital marketing as it receives the most engagement as compared to other types of content.

Facebook reports have shown that video content performs the best while Twitter has also shared that tweets that contain videos get 10 times more engagement than the tweets without them. On LinkedIn, people are more likely to share video posts than any other type of posts and the same goes for other social media platforms. While videos do perform better, creating video content is a tough job.

With the COVID-19 lockdowns, video shooting is close to impossible but fret not. YouTube has recently made its Video Builder tool accessible to more businesses so they can easily create high-quality content. Through the tool, you can create attractive videos with images, existing videos, templates and music clips.

The tool is still a work on progress but with the COVID-19 lockdowns, the platform is making it available to more businesses so they can make use of the attention digital video content is receiving.

According to YouTube:

"Because businesses of all sizes are strapped for time and resources and in-person video shoots are no longer practical in many countries, we are accelerating the next stage of Video Builder availability. With this tool, any business who needs a video can create one that helps connect with their customers and keep them informed—whether through an advertising campaign, website or email."

As mentioned, YouTube is still working on the tool but is allowing more businesses to access it so they can promote their campaigns amid the coronavirus pandemic. Apart from YouTube, Vimeo and VSCO launched their own video creation tools, so if you are in search of easy options to create stunning video content, then there are many tools you can use.

But for now, Video Builder comes with a few restrictions that you need to know about. Although the tool is for free it only allows you to create clips of up to 15 seconds in length. Moreover, you can't download the video clips and use them as you want. You can only share your video with your friends or colleagues to ask for their opinion, save it to your YouTube channel or use it for ad campaigns. You can't download the videos you make on the platform and use it on any other platform.
