This panel will serve as a news agent - giving away the latest information and updates regarding the outrageous global pandemic. It will also feature links to other videos, articles, posts and blogs that talk about the importance of prevention of the COVID-19 and being socially distant.
Facebook has also made additional efforts in this regard, which includes introducing informational prompts to relevant search queries, giving free ad credits for organizations that wish to deliver important information and more. It has also restricted ads that sought to profit from coronavirus fears and added Corona data tracking tools so you can monitor the current situation.
The company has also given its staff bonus payments to support local businesses that are impacted by the changes.
Facebook has clearly been making efforts where it can which can serve to be quite important since the platform is accessed by over 1.66 billion users daily. With all the chaos and panic during the pandemic, Facebook's contributions are valuable and set an example for other social media giants to follow.
