When you picture a stroke victim, who do you picture? An old man? A middle aged woman? What about an infant? Unfortunately, there is no such thing as being too young to have a stroke. Strokes can happen to anyone at any age. In fact, 4,000 strokes occur in infants in the US every year, and the risk of having a stroke for those under 45 is about 1 in 1,000.
