Rear View Mirror - Remembering Your First Car #infographic

Direct Line are currently running a competition where you can win back a fully restored version your first car. To enter you have to give details on the car and why you loved it. Using this information they have come up with this infographic going through some of the data collected. Everyone loved their first car, they bring back memories of freedom and for most people a taste of adventure with sudden realization that if you could scrape together some petrol money you could go anywhere!

Ford have two of the top 3 first cars and everyone loves a Mini! It turns out not many people actually named their car and most people held onto the car for at least a few years.

These are the results of entries so far and the competition is still going but they already have a large pool of data to collect from. You can see the individual cars and stories int he gallery section of the main competition (found here directline.com).
