Filming Locations of the Oscar Nominees
It can be very exciting to be able to recognise the location when you’re watching a film. Perhaps you’ve been there before, or it may even be close to where you live. Films will also make these locations more popular, as fans will then tend to flock to the places where their favourite films have been shot.

With one of the biggest film awards looming, we decided to take a look at the filming locations of the Oscar nominees for 2016. It’s interesting to see that most films aren’t shot where they are set, which could be for a number of reasons, including budget or perhaps the film is set in a current war-zone, and so has to be filmed elsewhere. We’ve not only included where the films are shot, but also what the films are nominated for in the Academy Awards, as well as a brief description about the filming locations.
