By doing so, they are successfully selling their clones and earning billions bucks.

Germany’s Samwer Brothers also created a clone of eBay in 1999 and named it Alando.de. Soon more than 2 Million users registered on this website and eBay saw a great potential in this business so eBay bought Alando.de for $50 Million. Afterwards, they created some more copies of business models like Airbnb, YouTube etc. and made a lot of money.
