The Rise and Demise of Nokia
Founded way back in 1895, Nokia started life as a paper mill before establishing itself as the most successful mobile phone company in history. Having introduced internet capabilities, predictive text and, of course, the legendary Snake game to the mobile world, it seemed nothing could stop Nokia. However, after a number of questionable decision and device releases, along with the introduction of the iPhone and Android, Nokia stumbled, fell and almost vanished from the mobile landscape altogether. Failing to see the potential of the now huge smartphone market, Nokia got left behind. Way behind.

But all’s not lost, it seems. The wounded giant’s brand new N1 tablet completely sold out in 4 minutes with over half a million customers left empty handed. Could this be the start of an amazing comeback? In recognition of the release of the Nokia N1 tablet, we've decided to take a trip down memory lane and review the highs and lows of a fallen giant in an epic visualisation of the Finnish firm’s history.
