Today there's so much focus and debate on whether space travel is important or not, why are we wasting our money that could be used for other reasons? Well the NASA spinoff technologies are just one of the many reasons.

NASA has spawned a continuous flow of inventions and discoveries since the late 1950’s that have helped shape the technologies of today. Today over 2,000 separate spinoff technologies have been invented as a by-product of technologies required to travel and live in space.
